Play of the Game
With a little less than eight minutes left in the quarter, Rajon Rondo intercepted DeAndre Jordan's pass in the backcourt and then hitMonta Ellis with a behind-the-back bounce pass for a jumper that put the Mavs up 70-62.

Stat of the Game
A Mavericks team that has struggled to shoot the ball of late, had no such trouble shooting 61% from the field and hitting 16-28 threes.

Of Note
  • The win gives the Mavs a win over every West top eight team expect Golden State.
  • After scoring only 21 points in the first quarter, the Mavericks scored 108 points in the final three quarters compared to the Clippers 75.
  • The 30 point win was the third biggest winning margin of the year for Dallas behind a 53 point win over Philadelphia on Nov. 13 and a 34 point win over the Lakers on Nov. 21.
  • Seven Mavs scored at least 14 points, including three bench players.
  • The Mavericks outrebounded the Clippers 43-32 despite 18 boards from league leader DeAndre Jordan. Jordan also made his first career three-pointer in the first quarter.

Charlie got hot, CP got hot, I knew the right plays to call to get those guys shots and not necessarily the same plays every time down the floor because teams load up on the same plays you run.
