Of Note
- Once again the Mavericks return home for just one game, as they are in a strech of 15 games in a row without back to back games in the same city.
- In the team's first meeting this year the Mavs won by double digits in Houston despite resting Dirk, Matthews and Parsons.
- Zaza Pachulia is tied for 2nd in the league with 12 double doubles on the year. Andre Drummond leads the league with 17.
- The Rockets are 4-4 under interim coach J.B. Bicketstaff but those wins have come against Portland, Philadelphia, New York and New Orleans. Two of those wins were in overtime and they only beat the Sixers by two at home.
- In the Mavs last three wins, Deron Williams has averaged 25 points and shot 56% from the field.
