The allure of finishing his national team career in his home country was too great for Dirk Nowitzki to pass up. Dirk announced today that he will play for Germany at EuroBasket 2015 in Berlin this September.
"I've chosen to be in Berlin," Nowitzki said. "A EuroBasket in our home country is a huge thing and I look forward to it, I thought it would be a great way to conclude my national team career."
Dirk last played for Germany in the 2011 EuroBasket. The top two teams in the tournament will qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
