All-Star Update: Zaza Nearly Voted In, My Reserve Picks

In a rather stunning development Mavs center Zaza Pachulia was nearly voted in as a a starter for the West in the 2016 All-Star Game. Zaza was over 14,000 votes shy of Kawhi Leonard for the final West frontcourt sport. Zaza was most likely helped out from fervent support from his home country of Georgia as well as musician Wyclef Jean posting a song on YouTube encouraging fans to vote for Zaza.

Here are the starters:

West
Stephen Curry
Russell Westbrook
Kobe Bryant
Kevin Durant
Kawhi Leonard

East
Dwyane Wade
Kyle Lowry
LeBron James
Paul George
Carmelo Anthony

And here are my picks for the reserves in each conference:

West
Dirk Nowitzki
Draymond Green
Chris Paul
James Harden
Anthony Davis
DeMarcus Cousins
Klay Thompson

East
Jimmy Butler
John Wall
Paul Millsap
Chris Bosh
Andre Drummond
DeMar Derozan
