Mavericks News and Notes
- Shawn Marion said at practice today he will back in the lineup for tomorrow night's games in Los Angeles against the Clippers. Marion has missed the last 4 games due to a bruised right shoulder he suffered after taking a hard fall in last Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
- In other injury news, Devin Harris participated in his first full practice since suffering a setback in his recovery from toe surgery last month. Although we won't play on the upcomming roadtrip, he could be back on the court as soon as Saturday night's contest against Portland.
- The Mavs D-league affiliate, the Texas Legend acquired former North Carolina guard P.J. Hairston through the league's player selection process. Hairston was declared ineligible by the NCAA due to rule violations, and decided he would play this season in the D-league to help raise his stock for this year's NBA Draft. Because Hairston is not eligible for the draft until June he is ineligible to called up to the NBA by the Mavs or any other team. Hairston is seen as a possible late first-round draft pick as of now.
