NBA Power Rankings

1. Thunder (25-6) : Look like the West's best, can they weather the storm without Westbrook?

2. Pacers (25-6) : Can Paul George be Most Improved Player again?

3. Heat (24-7) : As long as they have Lebron, they will be the favorite.

4. Blazers (25-7) : Quite the surprise, can run of perfect health continue?

5. Spurs (25-7) : Look like the same old Spurs, but have struggled against NBA's best.

6. Clippers (22-12) : CP3 and Blake are great but need more depth upfront.

7. Warriors (20-13): For once the Warriors put defense first.

8. Rockets (21-13): Dwight has looked great, but team has been inconsistent.

9. Suns (19-11) : How and the hell have they done it, and can they possibly keep it up?

10. Mavericks (19-13) : With Dirk returning to his old form, a playoff return is looking more likely.

11. Timberwolves (16-16) : Should be better but have lost just about every close game.

12. Hawks (18-14) : Were clearly third in East before losing Horford.

13. Pelicans (14-16) : Anthony Davis already looks like a superstar.

14. Raptors (15-15) : Have played much better since dealing Rudy Gay.

15. Grizzlies (13-17) : Defense has fallen apart without Marc Gasol.

16. Nuggets (14-17) : Without George Karl and Iguodala this team is a mess.

17. Wizards (14-15) : Should be a playoff team in the East led by soon-to-be all-star John Wall.

18. Pistons (14-19) : Have talent, but frontcourt seems to have poor chemistry.

19. Bobcats (14-19) : New coach Steve Clifford has totally turned around their defense.

20. Kings (10-20) : Demarcus Cousins is reaching his potential, but this team needs more.

21. Bulls (12-18) : Another wasted season without Derrick Rose.

22. Celtics (13-18) : Have to be loving Nets slide. Brad Stevens sure can coach.

23. Lakers (13-19) : Kobe won't be the savior for this bunch.

24. Jazz (10-24) : Played much better since Trey Burke entered the lineup.

25. Cavaliers (10-21) : Kyrie Irving deserves better than this mess.

26. Magic (10-21) : Have some nice young pieces led by rookie Oladipo.

27. Nets (10-21) : The future seems even bleaker than the present.

28. Knicks (9-21) : The less said, the better.

29. 76ers (10-21) : After shocking 3-0 start, have reverted to expected form.

30. Bucks (7-24) : At least they have the " Greek Freak".
