Play of the Game
Dirk hits a buzzer-beating jumper to put the Mavs up 78-62 at the end of 3. The shot put a capper on a third quarter that saw the Mavs outscore Utah 26-18 to put a stop to their third quarter woes.

Stat of the Game
Dallas forces 23 turnovers from the Jazz and score 32 points off those miscues. Meanwhile they only turnover it over 9 times themselves.

Of Note
  • The win was the 7th straight by the Mavericks over Utah including 3 in a row in Salt Lake City.
  • Chandler Parsons played through an upper respiratory infection and was only 1-11 from the field.
  • After getting dominated on the boards in the last two games the Mavs outrebounded the Jazz 42-41.
  • The only time the Mavs trailed was when they fell behind 2-0 to start the game.
  • For the second straight night no Mav played 30 minutes or more.
  • For the first time all year Tyson Chandler and Brandan Wright saw time on the floor together.
  • Raymond Felton is close to returning to action from his sprained ankle, and could begin serving his 4 game league suspension on Sunday.
