Dirk hits a buzzer-beating jumper to put the Mavs up 78-62 at the end of 3. The shot put a capper on a third quarter that saw the Mavs outscore Utah 26-18 to put a stop to their third quarter woes.

- The win was the 7th straight by the Mavericks over Utah including 3 in a row in Salt Lake City.
- Chandler Parsons played through an upper respiratory infection and was only 1-11 from the field.
- After getting dominated on the boards in the last two games the Mavs outrebounded the Jazz 42-41.
