Of Note
- The Mavs have now won six in a row over the Jazz including two wins last season in Salt Lake City.
- Both teams feature offenses that rank in the top three in the league so far, but also defenses that are in the bottom three.
- Besides the third quarter the Mavs have also struggled rebounding in the last couple games. They were outrebounded 49-36 by Boston and 53-34 by Portland last night.
- The Jazz are coming off an impressive 102-100 home win over Cleveland on Wednesday, which they won on a Gordon Hayward buzzer beater.
- Dallas was 6-0 last year on the second night of road-to-road back-to-backs.
