Of Note

• The Mavs took all three meetings from the Lakers last season after losing 7 out of 8 of the previous matchups after the Mavs swept the LA out of the 2011 playoffs.
• The game pits the Mavericks offense which is first in both points per game and offensive rating and the Lakers defense which is last in points allowed per game and defensive rating.
• Dallas has scored at least 105 points in all of their wins and 100 points or less in all three of their losses.
• Kobe Bryant is leading the league in scoring at 27.5 points per game but is only shooting .386% from the field despite shooting 24.2 times per game.
