Of Note
- The Mavericks have won eight straight overall and five straight in D.C against the Wiz. The Mavs last two trips to Washington both came on New Year's Day.
- The Mavs offensive rating of 117.3 through 11 games would rank as the best of all-time beating out the 86-87 Lakers record of 115.6.
- Washington is 7-2, good for second place in East, but have had a very favorable schedule so far including no games against the West.
- Dallas has four guards averaging at least four assists a game: Harris, 4.4, Nelson, 4.3, Ellis, 4.2 and Barea, 4.1.
- Wizards guard Bradley Beal has missed the entire season so far after wrist surgery, but could make his season debut Wednesday.
- The Mavs will see DeJuan Blair for the first time since he signed with Washington in the off-season after spending one season in Dallas. So far Blair has only logged 11 minuts in 3 games, scoring 2 points.
