- Rajon Rondo left the game less than two minutes in with a head injury. It happened when Richard Jefferson's knee accidentally collided with Rondo's face. Rick Carlisle said after the game he would be evaluated when the team returns to Dallas.
- Chandler Parsons missed his second straight game due to illness. He is expected to return for Monday's game.
- The win made the Mavericks 13-0 on the road against the East with games left at Atlanta and Indiana. They have won their last 17 dating back to last season.
