- All three former Mavs sent away in the Rondo deal struggled for the Celtics. Brandan Wright was scoreless in 10 minutes and didn't attempt a shot, Jameer Nelson was 2-9 for 7 points and Jae Crowder was 2-6 for 4 points.
- The Mavs win coupled by Houston's blowout loss to New Orleans put Dallas in 4th place in the West, a half game behind Memphis for the division lead.
