Of Note
- A win would give the Mavericks back-to-back wins over top 8 teams in the West. Before Saturday's win against the Portland the Mavs only had two such wins all season.
- The Clippers are currently reeling, having lost four games in a row and are without Blake Griffin (staph infection in right elbow) and J.J. Redick (back spasms).
- The Mavs have dropped 7 out of their last 9 games to the Clippers.
- Chandler Parsons has scored at least 18 points in 7 out of his last 9 games.
- Especially with Griffin out the Mavs must focus significant attention on DeAndre Jordan. In his last five games against Dallas, Jordan is averaging 16.4 points and 15.2 rebounds.
