The Mavs did most of their damage in the first and third periods, scoring 37 points in the first and 32 in the third led mainly by the starters. In total they outscore Cleveland 69-49 in those two quarters.

6 Mavs scored in double figures. Nelson and Parsons led the way with 19, Dirk had 16, Ellis and Harris has 13 apiece and Wright had 11.
LeBron James was not looking for his shot most of the night finishing with only 6 attempts from the field in 26 minutes on his way to 12 points.
Both teams did well from shooting from long distance. The Mavs were 14-34 (41.2%), while the Cavs were 15-37 (40.5%).
The Cavs sat both Kevin Love and Shawn Marion to give them some rest while Raymond Felton was the only Mav to sit out due to his high ankle sprain.
The two teams won't meet in the regular season until Jan. 4 in Cleveland. The Cavs come to Dallas on March 10.
