Of Note
- The Mavericks finished preseason with a 4-4 record, but were 4-0 in games that Dirk played.
- Dirk scored all 16 points of his points in the first half, including hitting 4 threes.
- Parsons, who is from the Orlando area, scored 15 of his 24 points in the third quarter. He was the first Mav to score 20 in a preseason game this year.
- Jameer Nelson had 4 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds in his return to Orlando after playing 10 seasons with the Magic. A video tribute was played during one of the timeouts.
- A 14-0 run in the second quarter erased a 6 point deficit to give the Mavs a lead they would never relinquish.
