Play(s) of the Game
The Mavs scored 7 points in the last 5.9 seconds of the first quarter. First Dirk hit two free throws then Robert Sacre threw away the inbounds pass to Jae Crowder who scored  and was fouled. He missed the free throw but it was rebounded by Richard Jefferson who found J.J. Barea for a buzzer beating three. The score went from 31-27 Mavs to 38-27.

Stat of the Game
The Mavs 140 points are their most since they scored that many against Phoenix on April 5, 2009. They also tied the AAC scoring record from that game.

  • The Mavs four game winning streak against the Lakers is their most all-time against them.
  • The Mavs current 6 game winning streak is their longest since February 2012. 
  • For the game Dallas shot 61.2% from the field and hit 18-35 threes. They also scored 30 or more in all four quarters.
  • Monta Ellis scored 18 of his 20 points and Chandler Parsons scored 15 of his 21 points in the third quarter.
  • No Mavericks starter played in the fourth quarter.
  • 8 Mavs scored in double figures for the second time this year.
  • This was the league high fifth time the Mavs had at least a 30 point lead in a game.
  • Devin Harris missed his second straight game with right lower leg soreness. He is questionable for tomorrow's game vs. Houston.
