Play of the Game
Tayshuan Prince hit a corner three with 2:47 to go to put Memphis up 7 and pretty much squashed any hope of a Dallas comeback. 

Stat of the Game
The normally sure-handed Mavs turned it over 16 times, while Memphis coughed it up only 5 times.

Of Note
  • Monta Ellis, playing with a sore right elbow was held to only 2 points on 1-11 shooting.
  • The Mavs tied a team regular season record with 18 made threes in 40 attempts despite Dirk going 0-6.
  • Like early in the season, the third quarter was the Mavs undoing as a 6 point halftime lead turned into a 13 point deficit.
  • Vince Carter was only 1-7 from the field in his first game against Dallas since signing with Memphis.
  • Jameer Nelson had a season high of 18, all of which were in the first half.
  • Parsons has 58 points in his last two games on 21-32 shooting.
