Jordan Considering Turning Back On Mavs

In a stunning turn of events DeAndre Jordan is now having second thoughts on signing with the Mavs and is now considering returning to the Clippers according to Marc Stein and several other media sources. Jordan is expected to meet with Doc Rivers, Chris Paul and other Clippers players tonight in Houston. Mark Cuban and Chandler Parsons are also expected to meet with Jordan tonight. Tomorrow is the first day free agents can officially sign their contracts. Free agent going back on verbal agreements with teams is extremely rare however and Jordan would be the most high profile case of that happening. This could be disastrous news for the Mavs, with little possible replacements left in free agency.
