Jeremy Evans Agrees With Mavs

The Mavericks continued to fill out their roster today when they agreed to a two year deal for the minimum with former Utah forward Jeremy Evans. Evans, 27 is best known for winning the 2012 dunk contest. In five season with the Jazz, Evans never really saw consistent playing time but played well in the minutes he got. His best season came in 2014 when he averaged 6.1 and 4.7 rebounds in 18.3 minutes per game. The Mavs hope Evans can turn into another Brandan Wright or Al-Farouq Aminu: Players who were both tremendous athletes with potential like Evans, whose careers really blossomed with the Mavs.
